Echo Town Colt Sells For $180,000 at OBS April

Echo Town’s only offering at the OBS Spring 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale was well received this week when L&N Racing went to $180,000 to purchase the colt.

Breezing a quarter last week in :20.4 for consignor Thorostock, the colt’s only sibling to race is multiple winner Major Deal. They are out of the Artie Schiller mare Christiansted, whose own dam is a five-time winning half-sister to multiple Grade III winner Mad Flatter and multiple stakes performer Gondwanan.

Bred by Bonnie Heath Farm, the colt sees five stakes performers under his five dams on the page.

Standing for $5,000 this year, Echo Town’s 12 2025 winners is tied with second crop sires McKinzie and War of Will this year.
