Best of Bordeaux Colt Sells for $200,000

The first crop of yearlings by Snitzel’s brilliant son Best of Bordeaux were offered at Magic Millions last week and he enjoyed 100% clearance with all 11 of his yearlings offered in Books 1 and 2 being sold.

The top seller for the Champion 2YO Colt of his generation was the Newhaven Park conceived colt from Audio that was purchased by Dalziel Bloodstock/Moody Racing Pty Ltd for $200,000.

He is the first living foal of an unraced half-sister by Zoustar to Group I MRC Thousand Guineas winner Odeum and Group III winner Goodfella, who is by Best of Bordeaux’s sire Snitzel.

His next best result was the Lime Country Thoroughbreds offered colt from stakes-winner Astara that made $100,000 when secured by Anthony Freedman Racing/Julian Blaxland Bloodstock.
