
Well-Bred Camelot Filly Gains Deserved First Win
Baytika (3f Camelot - Baiyouna, by Sea The Stars) got off the mark at the third attempt with success at Lyon-La Soie on Monday.
The Aga Khan Studs homebred was ridden by Leonard Plommee and was positioned towards the rear of the field before making a decisive move up the home straight.
Trained by Francis Graffard, the filly came home by a length and three-quarters ahead of Yellow Dream (by Saxon Warrior).
Baytika is out of a half-sister to to the dam of 2025 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf heroine Balantina.
