First Foals For Little Big Bear Heading For Goffs

Well-bred foals from the first crop of No Nay Never’s highest-rated juvenile Little Big Bear are set to go under the hammer at next week’s Goffs November Sale.

Killartery Stud’s offering is a colt out of a Dark Angel mare from the family of Group 1 Sussex Stakes victor Court Masterpiece and Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Classic Park, the dam of Walk In The Park.

Meanwhile, Church View Stables’ filly is out of a daughter of Australia whose relatives include German Oaks and 1,000 Guineas heroine Que Belle.

Cairn House Stud’s colt is the first foal out of a Wootton Bassett half-sister to Gr.3 Prix de Psyche winner Penja (by Camelot), Listed winner Taos and hails from the wider family of Gr.1 Prix d'Ispahan winner Never On Sunday and Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains-placed Texas.

The Castlebridge Consignment’s filly is a half-sister to the Listed-placed Lady Vivian (by Camelot) and from the family of champion two-year-old Eva Luna, while Kilfeacle Stud’s colt is a half-brother to Saxon Warrior’s stakes performer Pure Circle.

Another choice offering is Galbertstown Stables’ filly out of a Giant’s Causeway sister to three Group/Graded winners, while Tullogher House Stud’s filly is from the speedy family of Group 2 July Stakes winner Classic Blade and Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes scorer Abel Handy.

Others to note include Baroda Stud’s filly out of a half-sister to Group 2 Prix du Calvados winner Accakaba, Grenane House Stud’s colt out of an Oasis Dream sister to Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes scorer Showcasing, plus Annaca Bloodstock’s half-brother to the Group 2-placed Pendragon from the family of Arc heroine Bluestocking (both by Camelot).

There is also Mount Armstrong’s colt out of a Galileo sister to Group scorer Klassique and daughter of Group 1 Matron Stakes heroine Chachamaidee (by Footstepsinthesand), while Tinnakill House’s filly is a half-sister to the Group-placed Raaeb.

Sandra Russell Bloodstock will offer a filly out of a full-sister to the dam of dual Group 1-winning juvenile and exciting first-crop yearling sire Blackbeard and this year’s Group 2 Norfolk Stakes winner Charles Darwin.

There is also Owenstown Stud’s filly from the family of Group 1 winners Creative Force and Persuasive, as well as Browne Brothers Bloodstock’s colt from the family of high-class miler Swallow Flight.
