Smart Debut Win For Wootton Bassett Colt

Nobody Knows (2c Wootton Bassett - Thai Haku, by Oasis Dream) continued the rich vein of form for Wootton Bassett with a smart debut success at Ayr on Saturday.

Trained by Richard Hughes, Nobody Knows was held up in rear by Oisin Murphy but made ready headway two furlongs out. The juvenile kept on well inside the final 100 yards to win by a smooth two lengths, leading home Hasbro Market (by Starspangledbanner) in the process. The runner-up had struck at Thirsk last month.

Nobody Knows was the third two-year-old winner of the day for Wootton Bassett, following on from the earlier successes of Wootton Centurion at Chantilly and Ice Dancer at Gowran Park respectively.

He was bred by Rockhart Trading Ltd.
