Smart Wootton Bassett Colt Collects Group 3 Win

Sahlan (3c Wootton Bassett - Wasmya, by Toronado) became the latest Group winner for Wootton Bassett when landing the Prix Daphnis at Deauville on Sunday.

Trained by Francis Henri Graffard, Sahlan was positioned midfield by Mickael Barzalona and found plenty once asked to close the gap up the home straight. He came home for a comfortable length-and-a-half success.

The three-year-old is a homebred for Al Shaqab Racing.
