Wootton Bassett Juvenile Filly Obliges On Debut

Fille d'Oro (2f Wootton Bassett - D'oro Diva, by Medaglia d'Oro) came home strongly to make a winning debut at Saratoga on Friday.

The Brad Cox-trained filly was positioned three deep nearing the wire for the first time under Manny Franco and duly waited for the gaps to open before posting a comfortable win over Celebrity Warrior (by Saxon Warrior).

Stakes company is likely to be next for the Gregory Hoffman-owned daughter of Wootton Bassett.

Fille d'Oro was bred by Ecurie des Charmes and Haras d'Etreham.
