
Bolshoi Ballet Set To Be Well Represented At Tattersalls Ireland
Dual top-level winner Bolshoi Ballet will be well represented at next week’s Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale.
Featuring among the son of Galileo’s first book is Sheilstown Stud’s filly from the black-type family of Alpha Ridge, Malina Girl and Sister Stephanie.
Glen Stables offers a colt who is a half-brother to Munster National runner-up Stellar Notion and from the family of the top-class chaser Lostintranslation. There is also a filly whose relations include Aintree Grade 2 bumper scorer The Bajan Bandit and the Grade 1-placed Therealbandit. She will be sold by The Glebe Farm.
The Beeches Stud consigns six well-bred foals and they include a filly out of a half-sister to Grade 1 Punchestown and Irish Gold Cup hero Carlingford Lough and Grade 1 Tolworth Hurdle victor Thisthatandtother.
There is also a colt out of a half-sister to Grade 3-winning hurdler Kate Appleby Shoes, as well as a filly out of a Flemensfirth full-sister to Grade 1 Leopardstown Novice Chase, Punchestown Champion Novice Hurdle and Gallagher Novices' Hurdle hero Ballyburn.
In addition, The Beeches Stud will also sell a filly from the family of this year’s Grand National winner Nick Rockett (by Walk In The Park), a colt who is related to Grade 1 scorer Ballycasey, and a filly who is out of a half-sister to Nick Rockett.
