Second Grade 2 Win For Unbeaten Son Of Walk In The Park

No Drama This End (5g Walk In The Park - La Segnora, by Turgeon) collected his second Grade 2 win with an impressive victory in the Winter Novices' Hurdle at Sandown on Friday.

The Paul Nicholls-trained gelding had landed the Grade 2 Hyde Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham on his hurdling bow last month and he duly made it two from two over flights with a five-length score.

Ridden by Harry Cobden, No Drama This End was in touch with the leaders and travelled powerfully to take the lead from two flights out. The five-year-old stormed clear to strike ahead of The Blue Room (by Order Of St George).

Nicholls said: “We're very excited by him and even before Cheltenham last time. There was a bit of pressure this week making the decision to go here instead of straight to the Challow, but it was worth running in. He sauntered around very nicely.

"The Challow's always been on the agenda, but it's not the be-all and end-all. Cheltenham would be a nice aim if the ground was right, and if he goes to the Challow it'll be there and then straight to Cheltenham."
