Walk In The Park Four-Year-Old Draws Clear On Debut

Way Maker (4g Walk In The Park - Carrigeen Kigelia, by Presenting) could hardly have been more impressive when bolting up on debut at Bangor.

Micky Bowen’s newcomer was well-supported ahead of the two-mile bumper and raced prominently throughout under Sean Bowen. The Anita Davies-owned four-year-old asserted before the two-furlong pole and was ridden a furlong later. Drawing clear inside the final furlong, he went on to score by 11 lengths.

The son of Walk In The Park becomes the first winner bred by Mrs RH Lalor out of homebred mare Carrigeen Kigelia.
