Walk In The Park Mare Strikes Listed Success in Navan Bumper

Oldschool Outlaw (5m Walk In The Park - Myztique, by High Chaparral) impressed with a wide-margin win in the Listed Coolmore N.H. Sires Hurricane Lane Irish EBF Mares bumper at Navan yesterday.

The daughter of Walk In The Park was making her first start for Gordon Elliott having been placed in point-to-points and a bumper for Garry Caldwell.

Ridden by Harry Swan once again, Oldschool Outlaw was positioned prominently before taking up the lead two furlongs from home. The pair went clear in the final furlong to win by six and a half lengths.

Elliott said: “I like her now, she's tough, has a good attitude and wants to win.

"She'll be better when she gets a jump in front of her. We will probably go jumping sooner than later, I'd imagine."

Oldschool Outlaw was bred by Ms M McKenna.
