Winning Start Over Hurdles For Walk In The Park Gelding
Imperfectlyperfect (5g Walk In The Park - Ballyknock Hill, by Indian Danehill) made a successful debut over hurdles when striking at Hexham on Saturday.
Trained by Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore, Imperfectlyperfect had won his bumper by six lengths at the track in March, having placed third on his rules debut the previous month at Kelso.
Ridden again by Derek Fox, the son of Walk In The Park made all in the two-mile contest, keeping on well to win by a length after a good jump at the final flight.
A full-brother to recent Roscommon mares' maiden hurdle scorer Walks The Talk, Imperfectlyperfect was bred by B Higgins.
