€725,000 Colt for Justify at Arqana

Following up a stakes winner in Australia overnight, Justify struck in France when his 2-year-old colt Billieveinmiracles was a €725,000 Arqana May Breeze Up Sale purchase by Kerri Radcliffe.

Offered by Lynn Lodge Stud, the colt is out of the stakes placed Badge of Silver mare Oaks Lily. That 16-year-old mare is a proven broodmare with her six winners including Group III winner and Group I placed Yarek, stakes winner Dark Oak, and stakes placed Arrebato.

The King and Queens Farm-bred colt sees stakes performers under each of his three dams on the page with 10 winning stakes.

Billieveinmiracles was the eighth most expensive horse of this sale, following up Justify having last year’s sale topping Ruling Court, who went on to win the Group I 2000 Guineas last weekend.
