Mares In Foal to Domestic Product Sell at Keeneland November
One of the most popular freshman stallions in 2025, Gr.1 winner Domestic Product will make his sales debut at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale when 25 mares in foal to the stallion are offered to buyers.
Going through the ring carrying her first foal is Hip 154, the Gr.2 winning Obia Star, offered by Greenfield Farms.
Visiting Domestic Product on a February 23 cover, Obia Star was also placed in three Gr.1 races as well. She also comes into the ring with un update after her half-brother Convertido not only became a winner but also placed in the Candy Ride S. in Argentina. He is the fourth winner out of Obia. This family also includes the champion Oleado under Obia Star’s third dam.
The stakes winning Baby Nina sells as Hip 297 with Ballysax Bloodstock.
The mare is a half-sister to two other stakes winners out of the More Than Ready mare Whitelacenpromises, who produced seven winners from eight to race overall. Baby Nina has two foals of racing age and both have gotten their picture taken with her second foal also visiting the stakes winner’s circle after winning the Ozark S. this year. She also has a yearling by Jack Christopher named Uncensored, who sold for $190,000 in August.
Sapphire Nights’ page keeps improving every time her sister steps on the track and buyers will have a chance to take advantage when she’s offered as Hip 967 with Denali.
Sapphire Nights herself is a winner with multiple placings to her name as well as one of two winners from two to race out of Mischief Galore. That mare’s headliner is Shisospicy, who was a Gr.3 winner before winning the Gr.2 AGS Music City S. after the catalog was finalized and rounded out the year with a Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint win.
This page has seven stakes performers on it with the group including Gr.3 winner and Gr.2 placed Mukhtar and Sapphire Nights’ Gr.3 winning dam Maren’s Meadow.
Offered as part of the DJ Stable reduction is Twilight Curfew selling as Hip 1466.
This mare was a multiple stakes placed runner with two wins and eight other top three finishes for $108,333 in earnings and is already succeeding as a broodmare. Her first foal is the 2-year-old Essential Time, who broke his maiden in the Clever Trevor S. in his second start after placing on debut. The mare also has an Olympiad yearling, who sold for $130,000 this year, and Epicenter weanling to come.
Twilight Curfew is a half-sister to the dam of Gr.1 winner Fair Maiden, who in turn produced Uncle Mo’s Gr.2 winner First Resort, and to the dams of Gr.2 placed Anish and stakes placed Palm Tree. The mare’s third dam is dual Gr.1 winner Secret Status, who produced Gr.1 placed Dunkirk. The family also includes Gr.1 winner Dunbar Road and Gr.2 winner Private Mission along with others.
