Flag takes Honours for Galileo

Improving three-year-old Flag Of Honour (3c Galileo-Hawala, by Warning) brought another Group success for the mighty Galileo at the Curragh on Saturday.

Winner of the G2 Curragh Cup on his previous start, he made all to win the G3 Irish St Leger Trial on Saturday.

"He's a hardy horse,” said trainer Aidan O’Brien. "He'll be happy whenever he gets a lead too. Ryan (Moore) was delighted with him and says he handles cut in the ground well and handled that today, so he has a lot of options."
