Camelot Filly Draws Clear To Maiden Victory

Little Dorritt (3f Camelot – Eartha Kitt, by Pivotal) took a step forward on her second start to run out a commanding winner of the fillies’ novice stakes at Kempton on Thursday.

The Roger Varian-trained bay was sent off joint-favourite under Ray Dawson, who settled her in midfield and began to quicken up the inside rail after turning for home. Ridden to lead a furlong out, she was pushed out to score by three and a quarter lengths.

A Chasemore Farm homebred, the daughter of Camelot is out of a half-sister to Chesham Stakes winner Arthur Kitt (Camelot).
