Plenty Of Demand For Camelot Foals At Tattersalls

Foals by top-class sire Camelot sold for up to 240,000gns at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale this week.

The headline act was The Castlebridge Consignment’s colt out of the Listed-winning Oasis Dream mare Techno Music, who was purchased by JC Bloodstock. The colt’s page includes top-class German performers such as Turfkonig and Turfdonna.

The Castlebridge Consignment also consigned another six-figure foal by Camelot in the form of a colt out of Ocean Tides, who was purchased by Paca Paca Farm for 140,000gns.

Ocean Tides is a daughter of Galileo mare Elizabeth Browning, a full-sister to Group 1 Criterium International victor Johannes Vermeer.

Danesrath Stud’s colt from the magnificent family of Prudenzia, Pacifique, Magic Wand, Chiquita and Diamond Necklace (by St Mark’s Basilica) made 80,000gns to Glenvale Stud.
