Camelot Filly Makes Perfect Start At Chantilly
Whataboutism (3f Camelot – Wanaway, by Galiway) struck late to make a winning debut in Monday’s three-year-old fillies’ maiden at Chantilly.
The Andre Fabre-trained newcomer was slowly into stride for the ten-furlong contest, but recovered to race in mid-division. Improving to track the leaders from halfway, she was pushed along from two furlongs out and ridden approaching the final furlong. The Godolphin-owned bay kept on well to lead by a head on the line under Alexis Pouchin.
Stroud Coleman Bloodstock’s €220,000 yearling buy was bred by Guy Pariente Holding.
