Classy Camelot Filly Strides Clear On Debut
Likealot (3f Camelot – Likeable, by Dalakhani) shaped like a smart prospect when drawing clear on debut at Chelmsford on Thursday evening.
The Ralph Beckett-trained newcomer was sent off favourite for the fillies’ novice stakes and raced prominently throughout the ten-furlong contest under Rossa Ryan. Quickening on the turn for home, the grey led approaching the final furlong and kept on well to score by three and a half lengths.
The daughter of Camelot was bred by Meon Valley Stud and races under their Helena Springfield Ltd banner.
