First Foal For Paddington
The first foal by four-time Group 1 winner Paddington was born at Ecurie des Monceaux this morning when the Galileo mare Amalna produced a bay filly.
“She is a very well-balanced filly with a lot of class and presence,” commented Henri Bozo. “We are very happy.”
This couldn’t have been more appropriate as it was also at Monceaux that Paddington himself was born and raised.
Amalna is a half-sister to last year’s Group 3 Prix Vanteaux winner Dare To Dream, while their dam Debutante is a half-sister to four group winners including track record-breaking Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Danedream.
