Foals By Sioux Nation Capture The Imagination At Goffs

Foals by Sioux Nation proved popular at this week’s Goffs November Foal Sale, fetching prices of up to €180,000.

That lot was Moyglare Stud’s colt out of a Galileo sister to Listed Cheshire Oaks winner Thoughts Of June. The mare has already produced the Group-winning juvenile Suzie Songs (by Starspangledbanner) and she is in turn a daughter of American Grade 1 scorer Discreet Marq.

JRSA was the purchaser of the well-bred foal.

Castlehyde Stud’s colt out of Churchill mare Pussycat Eyes was another highlight when selling to Glenvale Stud for €115,000. The March-born chestnut’s family includes champion older horse Kutub.

Ladytown Stables’ colt from the family of black-type winners Tiger Moth, Coach House and Lesson In Humility went the way of BBW Bloodstock for €100,000, while The Castlebridge Consignment’s three-parts brother to Listed winner Tango (by No Nay Never) made €98,000 to McKeever Bloodstock and Ballyhimikin.
