Juvenile Sioux Nation Filly Lands First Success

Monte Vista (2f Sioux Nation - Serenely, by Australia) got off the mark with a decisive score in Rome on Tuesday.

The juvenile had finished second on her last two starts for Donnacha O’Brien and, now trained by Stefano Botti, came home three lengths clear to open her account on her first start in Italy.

Sioux Nation's other recent winners include Group 3 Mercury Stakes scorer Spartan Arrow and Listed Rous Stakes victor Shagraan. He is also responsible for the exciting Zanthos, a winner of the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes.
