Getaway Gelding Off The Mark At Ballycrystal

Cosmic Connection (5g Getaway - Little Blue Hero, by Milan) landed his first win between the flags when scoring comfortably in the five-year-old geldings maiden at Ballycrystal on Sunday.

Trained by Donnchadh Doyle, the five-year-old took up the lead from three fences out and came home three lengths clear of Sky Grove (by Order Of St George) under Rob James.

The son of Getaway is out of a half-sister to Listed Rehearsal Handicap Chase winner Aye Right (by Yeats).

He was bred by Patrick Cashman.
