Holy Roman Emperor’s Geography Gains Fourth Group Win

Geography (4g Holy Roman Emperor – Guajara, by Montjeu) picked up his fourth Group-race success when landing the Group 3 Fritz Henkel-Preis at Dusseldorf on Sunday.

The four-year-old, successful over course and distance in the Group 3 Kalkmann-Fruhjahrs-Meile in April, was partnered by Andrasch Starke and sent off an even-money shot. He tracked the leaders in the mile contest and was encouraged along a furlong out to lead in the final fifty yards, finishing half-a-length ahead of Listed winner Aigle Vaillant (by Wings Of Eagles).

Owned by Stall Hanse, Geography was sold by breeder Gestut Fahrhof as a yearling for €95,000. The son of Holy Roman Emperor is out of the Listed-winning Montjeu mare Guajara.
