Venetian Prince (2c St Mark’s Basilica - Arabian Queen, by Dubawi) continued his sire’s momentum when justifying favouritism at Newbury on Saturday.

The Andrew Balding-trained colt progressed from his debut sixth last month to open his account at the second time of asking, winning by a comfortable length under Oisin Murphy.
