Bill Plumb (4g Footstepsinthesand - Provence, by Averti) built on last season’s promise to make a winning return in Saturday’s six furlong maiden at Wolverhampton.

Placed on all three of his previous starts, Phil McEntee’s charge was partnered by Kevin Stott on his first start since August. Travelling strongly throughout, he was shaken up to lead a furlong from home and kept on well to score by two lengths.
