$210,000 New York-Bred Weanling for Golden Pal
A weanling from Golden Pal’s second crop was the co-fourth most expensive offering at the Saratoga Fall Mixed Sale on Tuesday when he sold for $210,000 to Cherry Knoll Farm.
Offered by Garrencasey Sales, the colt out of the stakes placed Showmethemagic was bred in New York by Ahlschwede Family and Dr. Scott Pierce. Showmethemagic is the dam of a winning juvenile from her first foal and has a yearling by Epicenter.
This colt’s second dam is a winning half-sister to the stakes winning Call Her Magic and the dam of champion Proud Spell. This page is full of stakes performers with dual country champion Letruska, Canadian champion Miss Mischief, and two-time champion Imnogood and Grade I winner J P’s Gusto among the 13 stakes winners and 10 other stakes performers listed.
This was the only offering by Golden Pal, who had the most expensive offering of any first or second crop sire at the sale.
