2yo stakes winner for Holy Roman Emperor

Holy Roman Emperor is responsible for one of Italy’s best two-year-olds of 2014 in Spicy Jam (2f Holy Roman Emperor-Jalys, by Sri Pekan), who secured a second Listed success on Sunday.

The Stefano Botti-trained filly, a Listed winer in Milan in September, captured the Listed Premio Ubaldo Pandolfi over six furlongs in Rome on Sunday under Dario Vargiu.

Bred in Britain by La Tesa, Spicy Jam realised 25,000 euros as a yearling last year.
