Dominant Second Group Success For Saxon Warrior Filly

Sheza Alibi (3f Saxon Warrior - Sheza Gypsy, by Shaft) registered a second Group-race victory with an impressive score in the Sandown Guineas at Caulfield on Saturday.

The Saxon Warrior filly had captured the Group 3 TAB Vanity at Flemington earlier this month and stepped forward again to post a five-and-three-quarter-length win in this Group 2 contest.

Winning rider Luke Nolen said after the race: “She’s got an elite turn-of-foot and I think she might be an elite horse.”

Sheza Alibi is trained by Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman and looks set to step up to Group 1 company in due course.
