Son Of Saxon Warrior Catches The Eye With Winning Debut

Saxon Street (2c Saxon Warrior - Sea Is Gold, by Sea The Stars) caught the eye when winning comfortably on debut at Chelmsford on Thursday.

Trained by John and Thady Gosden, the colt was settled in rear under Rab Havlin and the pair made good headway from two furlongs out to take up the lead at the furlong pole. Saxon Street kept on well to win by a length at the line.

Bred by Sunderland Holdings, Saxon Street is another promising juvenile for Saxon Warrior, whose 2025 crop of two-year-olds includes the unbeaten dual German Group 3 scorer Gostam.

Saxon Warrior's yearlings of 2025 have sold for up to 280,000gns.
