First Win For Consistent No Nay Never Colt
Grey Jaguar (3c No Nay Never - Many Colours, by Green Desert) claimed his first win when readily striking at Wolverhampton on Tuesday.
The James Tate-trained colt had placed second on two of his three previous starts and duly justified favouritism in the hands of Clifford Lee. Positioned prominently early on, Grey Jaguar soon took up pole position and from a furlong out he kept on to strike by half a length.
The son of No Nay Never is a three-parts brother to Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes winner Ocean Jewel (by Sioux Nation) and a half-brother to 1,000 Guineas heroine Mother Earth.
Grey Jaguar was bred by Grenane House Stud.
