Juvenile No Nay Never Filly Strikes On First Start
Loquella (2f No Nay Never - Teofilo's Princess, by Teofilo) made a fine start to her career with a clear-cut success at Newcastle on Thursday.
The Charlie Johnston-trained juvenile was ridden by Joe Fanning and she settled in rear before coming to make her challenge a furlong out. The pair went on to score by three and a quarter lengths, with Joud (by St Mark’s Basilica) in third.
Loquella, who was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, is another smart two-year-old winner for her sire, whose year has included Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes heroine True Love.
