Group Success For Juvenile No Nay Never Filly
Catching The Moon (2f No Nay Never - Riches And Rubies, by Uncle Mo) became the latest Group-winning juvenile for No Nay Never with success in the Firth Of Clyde Stakes at Ayr on Saturday.
Trained by Richard Fahey, the filly had run out an easy winner of her second start at Beverley last month. Ridden once again by Oisin Orr, the daughter of No Nay Never was in touch with the leaders and travelled strongly to post a neck success at the line.
Orr said: “I was able to get in behind the leaders and get a lovely sit. I had a horse to aim at inside the last furlong and she's picked up and done it nicely.
"She's a lovely filly and she's going the right way. I think she'll probably be better on better ground as well."
Catching The Moon is a homebred for Mrs Richard Henry and her dam is a half-sister to No Nay Never's Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes runner-up Pearls And Rubies.
