Juvenile No Nay Never Colt Lands Maiden Score
Crown Office (2c No Nay Never - Antonia De Vega, by Lope De Vega) got off the mark with a comfortable display at Leicester on Tuesday.
The William Haggas-trained colt had finished a neck second on debut at Newmarket in August and was striking at the third attempt with a two-and-three-quarter-length success.
Ridden by Cieren Fallon, the bay was prominent early on and was asked to close from two furlongs out. The duo took up the lead with a furlong to run and went clear towards the finish.
No Nay Never's excellent season continues and his flagship bearers this year include Group 1 winners True Love and Never So Brave, as well as Group 2 Norfolk Stakes victor Charles Darwin.
Crown Office was bred by Stone Roses Bloodstock.
