Juvenile No Nay Never Filly Picks Up Maiden Win
Coconut Cove (2f No Nay Never - Playfull Spirit, by Invincible Spirit) got off the mark with a two-length success at Wolverhampton on Saturday.
The Merry Fox Stud homebred had placed on her previous two starts and made virtually all under Jack Mitchell to win in straightforward fashion.
Trained by Roger Varian, Coconut Cove was continuing another fruitful day for the in-form No Nay Never. He was represented earlier in the day by Pandemonium, who made it two wins from as many starts with an impressive score at Redcar for Simon and Ed Crisford.
No Nay Never's True Love won the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes last Saturday and the sire was also responsible for this week's Goffs Orby sale-topper in the €1.9 million sister to Blackbeard and 2025 Group 2 Norfolk Stakes winner Charles Darwin.
