Juvenile Saxon Warrior Filly Gets Off The Mark

Emma's Letter (2f Saxon Warrior - Letterfromamerica, by Ghostzapper) got off the mark when striking at Newcastle on Wednesday.

The Ed Dunlop-trained filly had finished a close-up second on her last two starts, including when beaten just a shoulder at Wolverhampton last month.

Ridden by Rob Hornby, the daughter of Saxon Warrior settled in midfield on the far side and made headway from a furlong out. She kept on inside the final furlong to win by half a length.
