Juvenile Starspangledbanner Filly Lands Maiden Success

Anashkaya (2f Starspangledbanner - Karenine, by High Chaparral) struck at the third time of asking with a comfortable success at Chantilly on Tuesday.

Trained by Francis Graffard, the filly was positioned prominently under Luca Carboni and she took up the lead in the home straight to win by a length and a half.

Out of a half-sister to Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Flotilla, Anashkaya is another promising juvenile winner for her sire this year. His two-year-old crop of 2025 are headed by Cartier champions Gstaad and Precise.
