Son Of Starspangledbanner Delivers With First Win

Side Deal (2c Starspangledbanner - Red Square, by Frankel) landed his first win with a comfortable strike at Wolverhampton on Monday.

The son of Starspangledbanner was second in a novice contest at York in May for Raphael Freire and was making his first start for Kevin Philippart De Foy on only his third outing.

Ridden by Rowan Scott, Side Deal made all and increased the pace from two furlongs out. The pair won by an easy two lengths.
