Maiden Win For Juvenile Sioux Nation Colt

Chayton (2c Sioux Nation - Coeur Battant, by Acclamation) got off the mark at the second time of asking when readily winning in Milan on Wednesday.

The Endo Botti-trained son of Sioux Nation had placed third on debut two weeks earlier and, after stalking the leaders, stayed on well to strike by a comfortable length and a half.

Chayton is another winning juvenile for his sire in recent weeks, the others including the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes-bound Zanthos, promising York scorer Proud Nation and Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes winner Sioux Perfect.

Sioux Nation's yearlings have also proven popular at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale this week, headed by the €150,000 brother to stakes performer Native American.

Chayton was bred by South House Stud.
