No Nay Never Colt Off The Mark With Smart Win

Hypnotised (2c No Nay Never - Sleep Walk, by Oasis Dream) landed his first win with a comfortable victory at Southwell on Sunday.

The Juddmonte homebred had shown promise on his first two starts and duly justified odds-on favouritism under Colin Keane with an two-length success on his third outing.

Trained by Harry Charlton, the son of No Nay Never was positioned just behind the leaders and came with a strong challenge to win going away at the line.

Keane said: "He's a big, strong colt so he will go on next year. The last day he jumped and did everything very easily so I felt coming back to five [furlongs] would be no problem.

"That was only his third run so he's learning on the job and hopefully there's more to come."

A close relation to American Grade 1 winner Whitebeam, Hypnotised is another smart juvenile prospect for his sire in recent days following on from Catching The Moon’s success in the Group 3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes at Ayr yesterday.

No Nay Never’s two-year-olds of 2025 also include Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes scorer and Group 1 Phoenix Stakes runner-up True Love, as well as Group 2 Norfolk Stakes victor Charles Darwin and the unbeaten American Grade 3 scorer Hey Nay Nay.
