Red Earth (no nay never) Wins On Debut At Naas

No Nay Never Newcomer Delivers Smart Performance

Red Earth (2c No Nay Never – Catch The Eye, by Oratorio) shaped like a smart prospect when making a winning debut in Wednesday’s six furlong maiden at Naas.

The Fozzy Stack-trained newcomer raced prominently throughout under Seamie Heffernan and was ridden approaching the final furlong. Narrowly asserting inside the final furlong, he kept on well to prevail by a neck, with another four and a quarter lengths back to the third horse.

“He’s been going nicely at home,” the winning trainer revealed. “He’s in the Goffs Million and we’ll probably go somewhere in between now and then.”

Owned by the Connolly Racing Syndicate and bred by Mrs Noeleen McCreevy, Red Earth is a full-brother to dual Listed winner Servalan (No Nay Never).
