Progressive Sioux Nation Filly Gets Off The Mark
Siouxpersonic (2f Sioux Nation - Gold Lace, by Invincible Spirit) landed a deserved first win when striking at Southwell on Saturday.
The Ed Bethell-trained filly had come close to success when finishing second at Thirsk in August and she came home to record a comfortable length-and-three-quarters success under Callum Rodriguez.
Sioux Nation has been enjoying a purple patch of late, with Zanthos landing Friday's Group 2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket and a full-brother to stakes performer Native American selling for €150,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale this week.
Siouxpersonic was bred by Bronsan Racing.
