Saxon Warrior Filly An Easy Winner At Deauville

Mqse Des Nymphes (3f Saxon Warrior - Pensee Spirituelle, by Invincible Spirit) got off the mark in easy fashion at Deauville on Thursday.

The Mikel Delzangles-trained filly was gaining a deserved first success after some encouraging efforts earlier this year, including when a close-up third at Vichy last month.

Positioned prominently by Cristian Demuro, she hit the front turning for home and struck by a comfortable four-and-a-half lengths in the extended mile-and-a-furlong maiden.

The daughter of Saxon Warrior is a homebred for Edouard de Rothschild’s Haras de Meautry.
