Sioux Nation Filly Impresses With Debut Win

Raiding Party (2f Sioux Nation - War Empress, by War Command) made the perfect start to her career when running out an easy winner at Keeneland on Friday.

The Brendan Walsh-trained juvenile was quick to jump out of the stalls under Tyler Gaffalione and travelled smoothly before showing a fine turn of foot going into the home turn. The daughter of Sioux Nation put the race to bed by a comfortable two lengths.

The Bubba Rodgers and Coast Racing-owned filly was continuing a purple patch for her sire, with Group 2 Rockfel Stakes winner Zanthos and dual Listed-winning Shagraan among his recent performers.

Raiding Party was bred by Barry Moorhead.
