Sioux Nation Progeny Prove Popular At Tattersalls Book 1
Progeny of Sioux Nation were in high demand at Tattersalls Book 1 on Wednesday with a colt and filly selling for 525,000gns and 475,000gns respectively.
Ballyvolane Stud’s colt is out of the winning Gleneagles mare Mayfair Stroll and hails from the family of Listed winner and Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes runner-up Inishdalla.
The February-born bay was duly knocked down to Stroud Coleman Bloodstock.
Ballyphilip Stud’s filly is a half-sister to Listed scorer Majestic Dawn and Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes runner-up Rousing Encore. It is the family of Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Hard To Justify (by Justify) and July Cup scorer Starman.
The daughter of Sioux Nation sold to Henry Lascelles.
These results continued a fine run of form for Sioux Nation as his exciting juvenile daughter Zanthos landed the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes last month.
