Son Of Saxon Warrior Makes A Winning Start

Moon Beginnings (3g Saxon Warrior - Mimiteh, by Maria's Mon) made the perfect start to his career when winning on debut at Chester on Friday.

The David Loughnane-trained three-year-old was positioned behind the leaders early on and made headway over two furlongs out under Hollie Doyle.

Taking up the lead a furlong from home, the promising son of Saxon Warrior kept on well to record victory by a neck from market favourite Zarathos.

Out of a half-sister to Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Rosdhu Queen, Moon Beginnings was bred by Old Carhue Stud.
