Bold Action (5g Vadamos x Lady Rua Dargent, by Redback) made his racecourse debut on Friday a winning one, when landing the bumper in Kempton by an eye-catching 4-lengths for Chris Gordon and owner Anthony Ward-Thomas.

A half-brother to three winners, Bold Action was placed in a Point-to-Point at Kirkistown for Warren Ewing before being sold privately to the UK.

The Lemongrove Stud-bred gelding is one to follow, with The Racing Post noting “He looks a nice prospect”.
