Crystal Ocean Mare Wins Point-to-Point On Debut
Queens Charm (4m Crystal Ocean – Reine Angevine, by Poliglote) became her sire’s 8th first crop winner between the flags when taking the 4YO Mares Maiden at Knockmullen House on Sunday.
Handler Aidan Fitzgerald was forthcoming with his confidence in the mare and in her sire “To be honest we thought she wouldn’t be beat…I think he (Crystal Ocean) is a very good stallion, they’re very laid back, they keep training on and improving”.
Bred by Padraig Higgins & Larry Murphy, Queens Charm looks likely to be supplemented for the upcoming Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale.
