Exciting Son Of Vadamos Makes £185,000 at Tattersalls Cheltenham
Thinkitdontjinxit (4g Vadamos - Moonlit Theatre, by King’s Theatre) proved one of the highlights of the Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale on Friday when making £185,000 to Gordon Elliott.
Consigned by Denis Murphy's Ballyboy Stables, the son of Vadamos had run out an eight-length winner on debut at Ballycrystal on Sunday. Positioned prominently throughout, the gelding duly put the race to bed in a matter of strides up the home straight.
Elliott said: “He looks like a nice horse and he was highly recommended by Denis Murphy. He won well at the weekend and we’ve been lucky with the sire before – King Of Kingsfield is also by Vadamos.
"We watched his video and we liked what he did. He looks like a nice individual so hopefully he’s lucky now.”
Thinkitdontjinxit is out of a daughter of the Graded-placed Mrs Wallensky and the family also includes Graded scorers Minella Foru and Mrs Milner.
He was bred by Mary Morgan.
