First Foals By Hurricane Lane Head To Goffs

Well-bred foals from the first crop of dual Classic winner Hurricane Lane will sell at next week’s Goffs December National Hunt Sale.

The first of those into the ring will be Killangil House’s half-brother to the Grade 3-placed Maxios Prime (by Maxios), while following shortly afterwards is Ballincurrig House Stud’s colt from the family of Poule d'Essai des Pouliches victress Matiara.

Limekiln Stud will offer a filly out of the Getaway mare Alliss and she will be followed by Peria Stud’s filly from the family of American Grade 1 winners Harmonious and Startac.

Garryrichard Stud’s filly is out of a half-sister to multiple Grade 2 scorer Knappers Hill and the Listed-winning and Grade 1-placed Rene's Girl, while Curraheen Stud’s offering is a filly whose family includes Grade 1 Punchestown and Irish Gold Cup hero Bellshill.

Thistletown Stud’s filly is a granddaughter of the Listed-winning Kitara and out of a half-sister to the Grade 1-placed Politikar and she will be followed by Marston Stud’s colt from the family of high-class performer Rathlin.

In addition, Ballycorrigan Stud offers a colt out of a full-sister to Thyestes Handicap Chase scorer Invitation Only, while Coolmara Stables’ filly is a granddaughter of dual Grade 1-winning hurdler Petite Parisienne.

Other well-bred lots include Jossestown Farm’s filly out of a Yeats half-sister to Champion Hurdle hero Rock On Ruby, Lacken Stud’s filly from the family of Grade 1 Challow Novices’ Hurdle victor Captain Teague, and Redmarble Farm’s granddaughter of multiple Grade 2-winning hurdler Chomba Womba.

Ballincurrig House Stud’s colt is out of a full-sister to Grade 3 Classic Chase winner Kimberlite Candy, while Railstown Stud’s filly can count Grade 1 Tolworth Novices’ Hurdle victor Marcel among her relatives.

Baroda Stud’s filly is out of a half-sister to Group 1 Irish St Leger victor and Grade 1-winning hurdler Wicklow Brave, while The Beeches Stud’s colt is out of a full-sister to another top-level-winning hurdler in Bacardys.

There is also Drumlin & Yellowford’s filly from the well-related family of Irish Gold Cup hero Conflated (by Yeats), in addition to Ms. G O'Mahony’s colt whose page includes multiple Graded scorer Keen Leader.

Moulane Stud offers a colt from the family of black-type winners Oscar Rose and Johnny Setaside, while Hillview Stud’s filly is out of a full-sister to Listed winner and Grade 2-placed Daisy’s Gift.

The quality offerings continue as Mountain View Stud’s filly is the first foal out of the prolific Minx Tiara, while Railstown Stud’s filly is related to numerous black-type winners in both codes.

Galbertstown Stables sells a filly out of the Graded-placed Our Girl Lucy, a relation to Grade 1 Punchestown Gold Cup victor Planet Of Sound, while Windward House Stud’s filly is out of a full-sister to the dam of 2025 Grade 1 Scilly Isles Novices' Chase winner Handstands (by Getaway).
